History
The Northern Hills Church of Christ is a non-denominational congregation of Christians that meet, serve, and seek to touch lives for Christ in western South Dakota, northeast Wyoming and anywhere in the region, nation or world that God chooses to send us to spread the good news of salvation through his son Jesus Christ.
As it exists today, the Northern Hills Church of Christ congregation was formed in 1998 when the Belle Fouche Church of Christ and Spearfish Church of Christ merged to form one congregation. For several years we met in locations in both cities and prayed for God to direct us to a place where we could purchase land and build a meeting house between the two communities. In 2001, he answered that prayer with a gift of 5 acres of land located exactly between the two cities on US Highway 85. In March of 2002 we completed our current facility and have been extremely blessed.
